Kripsy Kreme and cars

Over the weekend we spied a post on JTBs Facebook wall “Doughnut Sunday this weekend” well it would have been rude not to! With another Dubbing friend Ian heading over as well we all met up just off the A3 at New Maldon and wandered the road and carpark outside the Krispy Kreme diner admiring the array of American metal on show. The meet was down on numbers a bit as the show season is well underway and several regulars were else where. But there was a good enough turn out for us.

I had a good look round this mental V8 mid engined Thames at Wheels Day, nice to see it being used in anger.

As is the way with these events, the only way to leave is in a cloud of smoke laying an “11” on the tarmac as you go, this was the best of a heavy traffic limiting bunch.

Back in the carpark there were a few more cars to look round and some bikes.

Before we all got down to the serious business of eating doughnuts, a dozen assorted were selected and with drinks we sat and nattered as some tasty cars rolled by outside.

Kim with the sweet option, Lily with the healthy option.

She was actually more interested in the hats and napkins than the sugary treats on offer!
