Our first full day dawned bright and sunny, we tucked into sausage, eggs and bacon that had been left in our fridge and planned our day.
We decided to take advantage of Kims CSMA membership and got free entrance to the nearby castle at Carisbrooke.
We explored the little toy museum and the history of the 900 year old prison for King Charles I. Hiked the walls and met the donkeys that still haul water up from the well in a giant wheel.
With a run round the fields nearby and lunch we headed off to Newport to do some shopping before heading back to the site. With the hens gone, we moved to the 1954 Spartanette. A four berth caravan with more space to relax in.
After moving all our stuff over and setting up again, Lily and I went for a wander to explore the other caravans on site now they were empty.
After a busy couple of days, Lily was sparked out soon after tea. We stayed up for a bit longer before giving in.
