Adventures on the Isle of Wight - Day3

We decided to explore Ryde today. A short drive in the Camper to the town and a wander round saw us in every charity shop and the old arcade.





With fresh bread bought in the local bakers we made lunch while watching the boats sail past before moving down to the beach and the pier. The hovercrafts that I've watched in Southsea were up close now.





A rain aborted trip on the beach left us driving down the pier in a monsoon. Running alongside the train line we watched the former London Underground trains run up and down for a bit. Before returning to our little slice of the 1950s for the evening
